BATON ROUGE, La. – West Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Deputies booked a Louisiana State Penitentiary corrections officer Monday with just one count each of Malfeasance in Business and Basic Battery for his alleged use of excessive pressure on a prisoner.

The alleged incident took place on April 11, 2022, at the prison even though the inmate was staying placed in restraints to be escorted to recreation. The inmate sustained minor accidents together with scratches and scrapes.
